Lawrence (Larry) Solow helps teams and organizations achieve their goals by strengthening and aligning their people, processes, and strategies while working within their unique culture and context.

Whether creating a “Total Learning Architecture” (People), implementing a Lean Six Sigma initiative (Processes), or facilitating a “Strategic Fitness Planning effort (Strategy), Larry integrates the recognition of organizations as non-linear, “complex adaptive systems” (Alignment) into all of his projects.  Focus on systems, change management, and technology are foundational elements of every engagement.

Larry brings real-world, hands-on experience and expertise to every relationship. As an internal change agent, he served as the Director of Continuous Improvement at Harley-Davidson,  Manager, Total Quality for AlliedSignal Aerospace, Leader, Lean Change Management for Orbital-ATK, and Director, Enterprise Transformation for the National Board of Medical Examiners. He currently serves as a Program Change Manager for Cigna.

He also boasts a wide range of external consulting experience. In the manufacturing sector, Larry has consulted to Alcan Packaging, Mattel, York International, SKF USA, and Tyco. Service sector clients include AtlantiCare, Inspira Health Network, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida, and Federal Express. He also has consulted with not-for-profit institutions including UNICEF, the American Red Cross, and Rotary International.

Larry earned a graduate degree in Organizational Communication from Temple University following his BA degree in Human Communication from Rutgers University. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has been certified as a a Prosci Change Management Practitioner and a Project Management Professional. He earned Agile certifications as a SAFe 6.0 Agilist, Scrum Master/Team Coach, and in Lean Portfolio Management. He has presented at ASTD, SIETAR, IQPC, IAF, SHRM, Project World, Project Summit, Chaos Network, and other major professional conferences.

Larry has co-authored two books. His most recent is titled: “Complexity Works! Influencing Pattern-Based Change in Teams and Organizations.” It is a available in softcover and Kindle editions at His first book is titled: “What Works for GE May Not Work for You: Using Human Systems Dynamics to Build a Culture of Process Improvement” (Productivity Press, 2010). Away from work, Larry’s interests include volunteering, freshwater fishing, and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams.
